Computerized???

Its been a while since i blogged... I have been busy... In the month that i havent blogged, i have got my I.P(Instruction Permit) a.k.a learners license, spent time with my aunt from New york and had a cousin staying over at my place. Now, am back to being alone and having time to myself.... a lot of time.

I had a great time this past one month. Starting with the goof up at the D.P.S(Dept. of public Safety) which issues the I.P and the license. It was a Monday and i was getting bored and decided to take up my friends offer of writing the test. I had'nt even touched the book..oops.. the PDF that was sent to me. In the two hours i was waiting for him to come home and take me, i did some sifting through. He helped me by testing me with a short quiz... Somehow, he seemed confident that i would pass. Yours truly didnt have any such hopes, but, was'nt bothered.. I just wanted to get out of the house and do something. It might as well be writing an exam(crazy, isnt it?!). After all the formalities were done, i took up the test... and what do u think happened? I flunked!! I got 67% and the pass percentage was 70%.The questions started once again. I didnt understand what it meant but i knew that the exam was over. Went and stood in the line to get my results formally even though i knew i'd flunked. When i spoke to the woman at the counter, she had a wierd look. Seems that the questions are not supposed to come after the test and she told me "am sorry ma'am. Seems like we had a problem with the computer. U will have to take a re-test"!!!! hehehe... I was'nt sorry at all.. I got another chance. I was jumping with joy inside my heart while i managed a calm facade. Then i took the retest. Many questions were repeated. So, it was easy. I had answered 21 questions out of 28 and 2 were wrong with one pass when all of a sudden the test came to an end. The computer said i got 91%!!!!!! Yipeee!!! This time the test ended and the computer instructed me to meet with the officer in charge. I half expected her to tell me i had to take a retest. But then, she said i'd passed!!! I came home a happy woman!! :-) Not that iam complaining but they really need to take a look at that computer!!!!

I never meant my post to be anonymous. I knew very well that you could identify the post as coming from me. I was just too lazy to type my name into the field there and so posted anonymous. :p
Yeah, yeah. The computer was not working, you did not read the booklet and passed the test. Ok.
The real test comes when you start driving on the main roads regularly madam. Possibly the best test is when you have to take the center lane for turning left and see that you have a green light and someone from the opposite side has a green light as well. A really strange traffic light system. 'Yield on Green' indeed. Really, couldn't they come up with a better system?

I hope that you will not say "What happened? What happened?", scream, and take your hands off the wheel when someone suddenly points out that you are driving on the wrong side of the road. That was exactly what one of my friends did, and this was at a busy intersection.

Surprisingly, i have taken to the right-side driving like a duck to the water... So, iam somewhat sure that i wont do that!! :-) hahahahaha!! One of my friends here did that while learning to drive...!! He tried to take a left turn, went wide and went into the opposite side traffic!!! hahahahaha!
